Directions:
Bimbadgen Estate is only 50 minutes from Newcastle and 2.5 hours drive North West of Sydney.
Directions from Sydney
Cross the Sydney Harbour Bridge heading north.
Follow the signs to Newcastle and North Coast. This will lead you to the Pacific highway.
Once on the pacific highway, follow until you reach the F3 freeway entrance. Which is before Hornsby (from Harbour bridge to F3 freeway entrance - approx 30 mins depending on traffic).
Follow the F3 freeway north.
Exit F3 at the Cessnock and Hunter Valley Vineyards signs (approx 1 hour or 100km on freeway).
Follow signs to Cessnock. Once in the township of Cessnock at the first set of traffic lights you come to - turn right onto Vincent street - the main shopping street of Cessnock.
At the end of Vincent Street turn left and then immediately right.
Follow this Branxton/ Allandale Rd until the Broke Road turn off (approx 5 minutes).
Turn Left into Broke Road. Follow Broke Road to the t-intersection.
Turn right at this t-intersection onto McDonalds Road and Bimbadgen is three minutes drive on your right.
Directions From Newcastle
Head to Hexham on the Pacific Highway.
Follow signs to Maitland and the New England Highway. When on New England Highway, exit on the Kurri Kurri Signs and drive to Hunter Valley Wine Country via the country towns of Kurri Kurri, Abermain, Neath and Cessnock.
Once in the township of Cessnock you will approach traffic lights - at the third set of lights turn right onto Wine Country Drive (you will see the local swimming pool on the corner). Follow Wine Country Drive until the Broke Road turn off (approx 5 Minutes).
Turn left into Broke Road.
Follow Broke Road to the t-intersection.
Turn right at this i-intersection onto McDonalds Road and Bimbadgen is three minutes drive on your right.
